Our client is a globally established industrial company with a significant international footprint. Our client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its North American operations, covering the United States, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean. Revenue responsibility exceeds $1bn.

The position holds complete accountability for the region's commercial and operational results and reports to the Group CEO and Executive Board. North America is among the organization's most significant markets, and the appointed executive will be responsible for regional performance, profitability, and growth.

The role will suit a commercially driven general manager from an industrial, manufacturing or capital equipment environment, with a proven track record of leading a large ($500m+), globally embedded organization, in North America. Success requires the ability to lead through influence within a matrix organization, collaborate effectively with international headquarters, and build trust-based partnerships with a regional leadership committee.

Key Responsibilities

• Set regional strategic direction and translate group priorities into actionable North American market plans
\n
• Own the Americas P&L, liquidity and asset base, balancing current-year delivery against longer-term investment
\n
• Drive profitable growth and market share gains across priority customer segments
\n
• Keep operations resilient, competitive and compliant while improving cost position
\n
• Strengthen the senior team through targeted hiring, development and succession planning
\n
• Represent the business to customers, partners and regulators at the group level
\n
• Direct regional marketing, communications, IT, purchasing and digitalization
\n

Key Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership with full P&L ownership in a global, matrixed industrial or capital equipment organization
\n
• Strong track record in commercial leadership and market growth in North America
\n
• Experience leading multinational, multicultural teams across complex regional footprints
\n
• Sophisticated stakeholder management and board-level executive presence
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with financial and governance discipline
\n
• Bachelor's degree required
