Body Shop TechnicianHAWKINS CHEVROLET is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Sunbury, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform high-quality repairs on vehicle bodies to restore them to their original condition.ResponsibilitiesPerform structural and cosmetic repairs on vehicle bodies.Remove and install damaged parts, such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, filling, and masking surfaces.Operate tools and equipment safely, including frame straightening machines and welding equipment.Inspect vehicles for damage and communicate repair needs to management.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Adhere to company policies and safety procedures at all times.RequirementsExperience in automotive body repair or collision repair.Familiarity with repair techniques, tools, and equipment.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.Valid driver’s license.Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
