Capital of the Ibb Governorate in Yemen and home to more than 771,000 people, Ibb is a large city and major tourist destination for those visiting the country.

Ibb is known as the greenest city in Yemen, and being a mountainous region receives higher rainfall than other neighbouring cities. 'Ibb' literally translates 'land of the green'.
